MJ -

​

With over 24 years of combined experience in Law Enforcement and the Military, MJ has forged a distinguished career path. Serving as a dedicated K9 handler for 11 years, MJ's expertise extended to his role as a key member of the agency's SWAT Team for 12 years, where he eventually assumed the position of assistant team leader.

​

Within the SWAT team, MJ showcased proficiency as a Master Breacher, Explosive Breacher, and Shotgun Breacher, demonstrating a comprehensive skill set in tactical operations. Additionally, MJ took on the crucial role of a police-certified Firearms Instructor, contributing to the training and development of fellow officers.

​

Beyond these responsibilities, MJ volunteered his time to the Man-Tracking Unit, where he attained certification in tracking individuals who were lost, missing, or had fled into diverse environments, whether wooded or urban. This unique skill set propelled MJ into a role as a Special Deputy US Marshal with the US Marshal Service, specifically assigned to the Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force. In this capacity, MJ continued to apply his expertise in apprehending fugitives, showcasing a commitment to maintaining public safety at both local and federal levels.

 

JB-

 

With over 21 years of experience in law enforcement, JB has dedicated a significant portion of his career to undercover narcotics operations and served as an operator on his agency's SWAT Team. Progressing through the ranks, JB later assumed the role of Team Leader on the SWAT team. In 2014, JB achieved his Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland.

JB, alongside MJ, made significant contributions by introducing the Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) curriculum to the Eastern Shore. They played a crucial role in imparting in-service life-saving techniques to local officers. Furthermore, JB holds certifications as an instructor in various areas, including Active Shooter Response, Use of Force, Defensive Tactics, Impact and Chemical Munitions, vehicular combatives, and Integrated Communication Assessment and Tactics (ICAT). JB is also an adjunct instructor at the Eastern Shore Criminal Justice Academy teaching building clearing techniques with single or dual officer response. His diverse skill set reflects a commitment to enhancing the capabilities and safety of law enforcement and civilian professionals. In his "spare" time JB is an active Amateur Radio Operator. JB has been involved in Amateur Radio  for over 20 years.
